Indian e-Tourist visa for Cameroon travelers
The most popular e-Visa to India is also known as the Indian Visa from Colombia and it enables Cameroonian citizens to travel freely for tourism purposes. It allows its holders multiple entries with a maximum continuous stay of 90 days from the date of entry.
The total validity of the Indian tourist visa is 1 year. Therefore, Cameroonian visitors can come and go as many times as they like as long as they do not exceed 90 days per visit.
The e-Tourist visa to India also allows Cameroonians to attend short-term yoga programs.
Indian e-Business visa for Cameroonians
There is also the option of obtaining an Indian e-Business Visa for Cameroonian travelers undertaking business measures in India. The e-Business Visa allows a Cameroonian to enter twice into the country.
The total permitted stay period of the e-Business visa is 180 days from the first entry date. Cameroonians can use the stay period (180 days) in one entry or they can divide it into two entries.
Indian e-Medical visa for Cameroon nationals
The e-Medical Visa to India is a short-term travel authorization for Cameroonians seeking medical attention in India.
This online travel permit allows its holder 3 entries into the country within a valid period of 60 days from the date of issue.
This type of Indian authorization can only be granted to patients. Family members from Cameroon wishing to accompany a medical patient can apply for the Indian e-Medical Attendant Visa, which allows them to assist the patient with their medical needs and treatment.
e-Visa Requirements for Cameroonians traveling to India
The e-Visa requirements set in place by the Indian government are deemed 100% necessary in order for Cameroonian applicants to successfully obtain an eVisa to India.
Before applying online, Cameroonian travelers should carefully consider all the eVisa requirements as failing to comply and meet them could result in an e-Visa refusal.
The requirements stated below need to be fulfilled across all e-Visa types in order to receive an Indian eVisa:
- A valid Cameroon passport The passport must be valid for at least 6 months when entering the country
- A digital-style photo of the Cameroonian applicants’ face
- A working email address. To receive the Indian Visa electronically, a valid email address must be provided
- A valid credit/debit card. Payment of the eVisa processing fee will be expected at the final stage of the Indian eVisa application
Whether a Cameroonian passport holder is applying for an e-Tourist, e-Business, or an e-Medical/e-Medical attendant, all of the abovementioned India eVisa entry requirements will need to be provided regardless of the Indian e-Visa type.
Additional requirements for an e-Business visa for Cameroonian citizens
In order for Cameroon business travelers to receive an e-Business visa they must also submit the following supporting documents:
- A copy/scanned image of the business card. The full name of the Cameroonian applicant should be shown, however, alias and a business card without a name are also accepted
- The business card must also include the company name located in Cameroon
- The business card should also include some contact details such as an email address
If a Cameroon business traveler does not have a business card, they have the alternative option of submitting a business letter.
This is an invitation letter issued by the company in India and it must be addressed to the Cameroon business traveler.
The letter should include the Indian company letterhead and also the address and contact details of the Indian company. Cameroonians must note that this invitation letter should also be signed.
